AIR MAX 95 “Kim Jones – Volt”

The Kim Jones x Nike Air Max 95 “Volt” is a March 2021 collaboration between Dior Homme’s Creative Director and Nike on the iconic retro silhouette. Jones, a heralded high fashion designer, collaborated with Jordan Brand in 2020 to produce the desirable, high fashion influenced Dior x Air Jordan 1. In 2021, Jones set his sights on one of his favorite Nike silhouettes, the Air Max 95, in an effort to add “modern technology” to a timeless shoe. A series of dashes are printed on the wavy synthetic panels on either side of the shoe. Volt accented nylon eyelets appear beneath a dark webbing material on the upper. A split “Air Max” emblem is embroidered on the black nylon tongue and a Swoosh logo is stitched onto the lateral side of the heel above “Kim Jones” detailing. A small Swoosh is printed on the forefoot of the reflective mudguard. Volt-tinted Air units in the forefoot and heel of the white foam midsole complete the look
