Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Pixel ‘Desert Sand’

The humble Air Force 1 has become the perfect baseline for Nike’s in-house design team to really test their flair. From 2018’s seven-piece set of reimagined designs for and by women, to something as audacious as the recently-revealed “Black Tie-Dye” rendition, its versatility speaks volumes. Always down for experimentation, the next release turns the staple sneaker into something of a conversation starter, with a glitchy “Pixel” Airforce 1 redefining the silhouette’s sleek lines and ever-iconic sole unit. After debuting in a clean triple white option, the pair has popped up in a slew of pastel-popped options — and even a snakeskin-riddled pair — it now introduces another new material: suede.

Here, the white leather uppers arrive unadulterated, whilst its in-cut Checks send a striking message in jet black. Overlays at the toe, eyelet and quarter all adorn the titular tan hue, while the inclusion of a peaceful sky blue freshens up up the release.
